Laser Hair Removal
At Body & Face, we provide state-of-the-art laser technology with three different wavelengths, ensuring complete safety for all skin types, even during the summer months. The laser is operated by a university-trained aesthetician with excellent qualifications and 20 years of experience in using all types of lasers.
How it works
The basic principle of laser hair removal is that the energy from the laser, at a specific wavelength, is absorbed by the melanin in the hair. This energy then reaches the hair follicle, increasing the tissue temperature, which gradually destroys the regenerative cells that nourish the hair. As a result, the hair cannot be nourished and is permanently destroyed.
Why 3 Wavelengths?
The ARES LITE available at Body & Face features a head that simultaneously emits Alexandrite (755nm), Diode Laser (808nm), and Nd Yag Laser (1064nm).
Each wavelength penetrates to a different depth, targeting hair follicles at various levels. This ensures 100% effectiveness on different hair types and in various areas of the face and body.
Additionally, the laser head cools the skin to -16°C, making the hair removal process a painless experience. Another advantage of this specific head is that it uses the world-renowned LIMO brand optical fibers with micro-optical technology (FAC), which allows for fast focusing without energy loss to surrounding tissues and the environment.
Advantages
1. Fast hair removal on large areas where permanent hair removal is impossible.
2. Quick results compared to permanent hair removal.
3. Can be completely painless with the use of anesthetic cream, unlike waxing.
4. Helps in the treatment of folliculitis.
5. Effective on strong and dark hair.
How Many Sessions Are Needed
Typically, sessions range from 5 to 8, but the exact number depends on skin color, hair color, certain medications, and individual heredity. Therefore, at Body & Face, we take a detailed medical history before making any decisions. This helps us provide a more accurate estimate of the results, as well as information on the number of sessions needed and the aftercare process.
